Every bit as bad as a defeat. Other than the last 10 minutes or so, City were dominant throughout - just useless up front.
Calm down dear! He got us a point and a clean sheet away from home. AND played two up front together. Some people are never satisfied
So we can't beat anyone in the top half, we can barely scrape a draw, we now can't beat mid to lower half teams, Were we Ok today or Brentford really ****? Where are points going to come from? AN out! Moxey out, Delia out and balls out! Bah!
F*ck me.....I didn't expect a result or performance as bland as that! If he can finally chose that formation, and those players he needs (obviously after all his guff, they really are not motivated to perform for him to save his job) In a way, what a perfect end to the year!! Nothing exciting, can't score, Can't do much of anything.
It was really strange. Played 2 up front but Nelson hardly featured, and when he did he was pushed out wide - a bit like CJ was playing a lone striker role
Anyway, Now off to the "party". If it's dull and I can get on their wifi. I'll be back. If not. Have a great New Years everyone.
Norwich City FC @NorwichCityFC AN: "The lads who came in did well. We're pleased with the clean sheet." Wacko, everything is rosy in the canary garden, then Happy new year, one and all
Ha, I can just see the team selection for Derby - Basil will be dropped and we'll be back to playing 4-5-1, as AN can say - "well, it didn't work against Brentford, so I'm not going to try it again!!!"
Chris Goreham @CGoreham Neil also not guaranteeing 3 at the back is here to stay. Says it was very much designed for Brentford. #ncfc Good call, JM
Disappointed with the result but the clean sheet was well deserved as Brentford were denied even a shot on target. Jerome should have scored after getting into space in front of goal and then shooting over. The sending off was ridiculous and should be appealed. Need to win against Derby now.
c What a load of sh!t. Maybe we should have stuck with the formation and tactics that resulted in us beating them 5 - 0 a few weeks ago, but what do I know.
Fact is, the players are just as poor as you all maintain Neil is, just for once he tried something different, even playing two up front which you´ve all also been clamouring for. We had plenty of play, just didn´t (couldn´t) do a damn thing with it, and when Jerome can completely miss the target from such a straightforward chance in the second half, then you´ve got to start questioning this preposterous ´we should be walking this league´ quote. We looked exactly what we are at the moment, an average mid-table outfit, with no confidence, no spirit, and no spark. The only bonus today was that we at least kept a clean sheet, but Brentford are hardly the likes of Newcastle, Brighton and Sheff W and Co, or, dare I say, Derby.
