Yes, you cheeky f@cker. In 1983 I predicted that Galashiels WRI would beat Melrose Ladies Knitting club 3-1 in the borders knitting final. Well, it would have been 3-1 but Morag Mcquade dropped a stitch in the final minute of the scarf crochet competition and subsequently lost on the scone tasting play off.
I also won £200 on the Saltburn 6 fingered w@nkers and gobblers end of season Adam Johnson appreciation and Jimmy Saville lookalike competition. Who's the daddy, my form is well good.
Leeds currently 1-0 up against Derby. Will close the gap between us and 3rd to just 4 points if they win.
We need to be on top form tomorrow and go for 3 points, not sit back looking at a draw but hoping for a break away. With Leeds looking like they'll go 3rd only 4 points behind us it's getting too close for comfort among the top 6.
IT'S MATCH DAYYYYYYY Forecast a close, tight game with both defences on top and Newcastle edging the game 8-1
Doing the double here will do nicely. I wouldn't be against a back 5. Arguably with dummet in for Hanley with lazaar and yedlin wide. Then hayden, Ritchie, and Anita in the middle gayle and Murphy to start up top
I wouldn't be against goufran in place of Murphy or as a wingback. Up top brings more movement. But disciplined enough to do the wingback role for 60 minutes until he inevitably gets tired
Hopefully it's pre injury colback he was alright then. I just wish he would move the ball quickly and take the yards to run into when offered. If he did he'd be useful
Agree but we all know Rafa wont play two up top especially in an away game. Probably will be your team but with Gouffran instead of Murphy and Colback instead of Yedlin with Anita at full back and dropping Lazaar.
Omens are good for this one, in 93 we were having a bit of a **** patch, then barbequed Brentford 5-1 and got things back on track. Lee Clark double and "the one that got away" from Rob Lee. Unfortunately though Shelvey is our proverbial Rob Lee meets Lee Clark atm.
