By the beard of Joe Ledley, I swear the following to be true pals thus: Doris had a real passion for me this day, to say I was made to pleasure her repeatedly was an understatement. In football parlance you could say I achieved a hat trick, one with head, one with the backside and to finish with an open goal prod! Thing is I thought city were at home....fug me! Boxing Day, is remembered for Bobby Brown and Barry Jones breaking legs....two excellent players too! Left-back Rico Henry and forward Alan Judge are working their way back from long-term injury, while Lewis Macleod (knee) is out for the season. Cardiff defender Sol Bamba is suspended after being given an extra one-game ban following his sending-off at Ipswich. Winger Anthony Pilkington should be fit after a back spasm but full-back Jazz Richards is not ready to return. Match facts Brentford have won five of their last seven league clashes with the Bluebirds at Griffin Park, losing the other two. Cardiff have won four of their last six league games against the Bees (L2). Brentford have found the net in 18 of their last 19 league games on Boxing Day, although they failed to score last year versus Brighton. Cardiff are winless in their last seven away league games played on Boxing Day (D4 L3). Brentford's Scott Hogan has attempted the most shots (excluding blocks, 57) and shots on target (38) of any player in the Championship this season.

Warnock said he would make changes after Barnsley, dropping players who ignored his instructions. No one and Amos?
Season's greetings fellow bluebirds. just put the game on radio wales. Didn't realise it was a 1pm kick off. Glad to hear we're leading though.
As an aside, I read something regarding Jazz Richards ( I sooo wanted to write Jizz). Colin was talking about it and being very diplomatic, what I got from it was Richards is a lazy ****er and should get off his arse. Any opinions from you guys?
looks a weird setup but one that's clearly working so far, Zohore looks like Jay in the 09-10 season to me, get a clinical triker next to him in the same mould (or Moult) as Chopra and a decent keeper and i feel the good times are back again.
Problem is with our defensive frailties we need to shore up the midfield.4231 or 4411. Someone with legs to get up front when we're attacking and get back when we don't. Does sound like Ken is growing into his role though. half time and only 31% possession. We would be decrying that with some previous managers, but Warnock seems to carry it off.
Whitts replaced by O'Keefe. Brentford on top at the start of the second half then City get a few more chances.
well. didn't see that coming. Late goals are costing us dear, but at least we're scoring. A valuable away point.
Haven't won away on boxing day since 1994. Really thought they were going to win today but the absolutely inevitable late concession did for us again. How many points have we thrown away at the death? How many times have we won at the death?
We would have taken the draw at kick off. No excuse for losing the lead I know. Must have lost points at the death in at least 4 or 5 games.
Taking the 2 points gained late v Wolves (the only positive in this equation) on my calculations City are minus 5 points for concessions in last 5 minutes of games. Dropped 2 versus Fulham & Brentford, and 1 each versus Reading, Wigan & Barnsley. And all due to woeful defending and either bad management or players switching off. Those 5 points would have seen us comfortably mid table. Mind you it's just not this season, City seem to have been on the wrong end of losing points to late goals season after season.
