There's one in a village in the mountains above Mojacar that I remember. Best lamb I ever tasted. Fabulous entremeses of cold meats and cheeses too. Then there's the wine, of course...

A good choice of egg but if you're doing the breakfast yourself it's too much hassle, fried is easier.

I would never trust anyone else to poach an egg properly, if it's not right that's your day ****ed.

Poached eggs on toast though, definitely.

I'm back over in August, can't wait. Got five days in a villa in Denia, then 5 days at the wedding venue, then another 5 days at a boutique hotel in Denia.

    Doing tomatina for the stag.

Most villages have a pensionista. Which is a bit like a social club. You often find the workers in them for breakfast and lunch and the food is usually very good in them. <ok>

    Quorn is rank!!!

Halal Sausages?! What are they made of beef instead of pork I guess?

That's why I could never be Muslim, or Jewish, or Vegetarian....
    Bacon tastes too good.

    A good breakfast is

    Lightly spiced omelette

Double paratha with desi ghee if back home or nice butter if in UK home

Doodh Patti - tea made with just milk with cinammon, cardomum, sugar and salt

Pink tea/afghan tea with pistachio is the best tea but takes ages to make

No need for lunch/dinner just come hone and have an evening meal whatever you want to call it
