    Agreed. Beef tends to be very hit and miss. Part of the secret is to slow cook it - same with lamb. Spanish lamb is lovely, but it has far less fat than U.K. lamb so is much tougher meat. You have to pot roast it with red wine, moninos, garlic etc. Then it's delicious.

    Usually like a sliced small baguette smothered in tomato and tons of garlic. Then toasted.

    When I was over last month went to an old hunting lodge restaurant. Had a leg of wild boar. Was awesome.

    Therebus some great food over there. Just difficult to find near tourist areas. I often find the best places to eat are the little bars or pensionistas in small villages.

    I spend a lot of time on the costa Blanca. Family live out there. Notbon the coast they're all in a wine making valley.

    Had a tostada when I was over for breakfast. Was tremendous. Not sure what the cheese was on it but was lovely.
