We always read about the football, and have opinions and judgements on how teams are and players act, but fair play to Sunderland, (Everton as well) and Jermain Defeo in particular for their time and help with this seriously ill young fan, Bradley Lowery.

This photo taken by Bradley's mother has been in many newspapers and on the BBC website, brought a smile to my face this week as it showed a caring, human side from players, with whom many of us feel can be quite distant from.

I read the tweet on that, Bradley didn't want his hero to go and tucked up and fell asleep with Defoe staying over three hours with him. It's a heartbreaking scenario for all concerned...

Absolutely heartbreaking, but a big hug for Defoe....if we think it is heartbreaking, what is Defoe feeling, being the hero to such a lovely kid!
    Being incorporated into this nightmare
This completely renews my faith in footballers...
