I am going to enjoy this one watching the beam back at CCS. I expect there will be more City fans at the stadium than travel to Preston. That said we don't have a very good results record for beam back matches! However I do think this is winnable so I predict Preston 0 City 1 and like most on here Lambert to score.

I too think we'll win. But only just and Preston won't make it easy for us.

2-1 City with Pilks continuing to score away from home

Just looking at all the predictions above. No one predicted a Preston win.

I don't want to sound triumphal, but looks like I'm the only one to get a point on the board for this game - and that was for a City no score. <doh>

Don't be too smug Sparks. Your other favourite team of the moment lost.

Not being smug at all Bluey - just pointed out I was the only one to get a point for the Preston game AND that was only because I predicted we wouldn't score.

As for my "dark horse" prediction for the season, they may have lost 1-0 away from home against a very good Brighton side, but that's Huddersfield's first defeat of the season.

I'd love to be in their position right now, not in the **** that we are. <ok>

True Sparks. Only rattling your cage. <whistle>

Not sure how we will get out of this. I think a fit O'Keefe will bring a bit more bite and urgency to midfield and he can get into the box for the odd chance as well. Other than throwing in some youngsters and getting Bennett in at left back those are the only cards we have left to play.
