I find all this talk of new contacts for him to be very premature I have to say. It's early days but it must be seen as an under achievement at the moment to be so far off the top at the half way point? Results have improved of late but they certainly look pretty average given the investment, his league experience etc.

How quick fans are to forget last season. Why do you take what Jose said as a dig??? I took it just as the way Chelsea play to win the league, because let's be honest, since Chelsea were formed in 2003 every time they have won the league you start well then hang on to 1-0 leads defend defend defend and thats what he is getting at ITS JUST FACTS

hearing Batters may not start after all.
Conte may prefer False 9 now with Pedro or someone.

Will be disappointed for Batters especially with January window around.

Conte appears to have if it ain't broke don't fix it approach. If it were me, me not Conte, yeah me, I'd tell the replacements to play the same way as Costa and Kante. Mind you I know this is a risk as each individual has their own strengths and weaknesses, but if two guys come into a system and play with all their own style then the machine around them will also stutter. Anyone coming in for Kante will be like replacing a 6 volt battery for a 12 volt one. I'd tell the team remember what your know about your team mates coming in and to the other two I'd say you will have to adapt to what you've seem us play recently. That' sis what I'd do...........me.

Chelobah could play like Kante. Obi Wan Kenmikel couldn't, neither could Cesc, yet Cesc is probably the best option and then have a word with Matic. Matic has the most first hand experience of what Kante gives to the team and should have the best handle on it. I have no sympathy for strikers. Just throw Michy on and tell him to earn his pay.

I'm afraid clean sheet will not be easy without Kante.
no Anti-Kante on bench, I get new confidence.
Can still get a win. 2-1

Clean Sheeeeet! Missing Oscar a bit, but Chelsea seems to be still fine without him. Time for celebration now!

That was impressive, once they settled into a rhythm. Hazard was a real eye opener for me, played like an experienced striker, Conte is turning this boy into a seriously good player. All 3 front men looked top notch, and the defence was their usual selves. Midfield did well after a couple of early stutters. We should be proud of the teamwork and the ability of squad players to step in and perform extremely well. We might see a couple more fringe players blossom before the seasons' out. Will love to see Zouma, Chalobah and Mitchy playing this system, maybe not all together, but before too long.Got a feeling there is another Moses among those three.

Can't help thinking batty is a long term investment, certainly in this team at present he'll only warm the bench.

was pleasantly surprised with a clean sheet on top of the win.

I understand Conte starting Pedro - because of his crucial goals against top teams this year.
Pedro vindicated with yet another wonder goal.
However, no Batters even as a sub is very disappointing.

This is the only sour note for me. So would give Conte 8/10.

Bournemouth were never going to park the bus properly, maybe a Volvo estate, so we had the opportunity to use that extra bit of space the Volvo gives you.
