fairplay to Alonso for that Freekick.

Still he is an awful defender, just like Cahill who is a better Striker than Defender.

They will be let go for their day job or lack of it.

That free kick by Alonso was a beauty.

have you seen the last few goals we have conceded.

Cahill will go on a mazy run in our Defense.
Cahill will align on a straight line behind another one of our defender.
Cahill helps opposition to score goal.

    Awful.

To be fair there was nothing our defence could to about that goal. A looping deflection that beat everyone. Defence didn't do a lot wrong in this game.

I like Alonso tbh. Good technically and a decent defender. Puts in a great cross and can score a goal. If I'm going to nit pick, he isn't the quickest.

Again, I have mentioned in the past. Sticking Alonso with Cahill is exposing us a lot.
Perhaps Without Cahill, Alonso could be lot better on the Defense.
But no hope for Cahill in any which way. He needs to go or play as a striker.

Cahill cannot do too bad than Costa, as a striker at the moment.
Costa is playing like Torres of 2011 & 2012 (year I effing hate).
Costa is trying too hard or doesn't want to score at all. I guess it is the former than latter.

cahill had a great game yesterday.

luiz had a stinker, but it worked out in the end.

alonso was impeccable as was mr moses, who proved how much we missed him the past few games.

    as for hazard...

    delicious.

costa, he's just having a bad patch. even if he finished the season today a 17 goal haul will still be impressive.

not sure, how Cahill had a great game.

Look King's goal again. Luiz pointed out Cahill to close him down.
Cahill ignored Luiz and went on his spiral mazy run again and hid behind Luiz on a straight line .

How is that Cahill had an impeccable game?

Whatever the individual weaknesses of any of our defenders, as a group they are absolutely great. They didn't go on that winning run by being poor defenders, but by good teamwork. That's how and why we might just win the PL. It's the team performance that counts, not the individuals. And it's not the defence I would be looking at as any kind of weakness, given their record.

BTW, Cahill has blocked me on twitter. Thibo & Alonso didn't block me at all.

I have given more grief (read constructive criticism) to Thibo & Alonso on Twitter.

Maybe because as a player who has won it all at domestic level, he probably doesn't value your nit picking from your armchair!!
