    My uninformed understanding is that he collected his knees on route. Apparently the mix up came when a practical joke back fired when Harrison Reed swapped Boufal's knees with Jay Rod's..

    All hell has broken loose, as you can imagine and Les Reed has denied his son had any type of involvement.

    Jose Fonte is so disgusted by the Tom Foolery that it led to his transfer request to Comedy Central.

    Meanwhile, our very own CBK is over the moon at Tom Foolery signing for Saints and thinks he is the goal scoring midfielder we have been lacking.

    Well it's good news that our system of resting & rotating players means that Boufel didn't pick up an injury.

    Well, apart from when he did.

    I blame Fonte.

    It's inflammation on the knee operation site and needs rest for 3 weeks to clear it up.

    I know we bought Boufal with an injury, but we do seem to have more injuries now. Remember when we used to laugh at Arsenal's sick list.

    I think they all fein them to get out of the team talk. Or maybe they are caused by the team falling asleep during it, where they fall off the bench and crack a part of their body?

    The intention of resting players isn't to prevent injury. It's to stop fatigue and keep them fresh. A player can get injured no matter how fresh they are so not really anything to do with rotation.
