    There are reports that Boufal has been injured and has returned to England. He will not take part in the AFCON.

    No indication as to what the injury is or how severe it is.

    Indeed. It might turn out to work in our favour. If it's just a couple of weeks he is out and Morocco reach the latter rounds we will have him back sooner.

    It's whether it's an injury or "an injury".

    Either way, hopefully it's good news and he'll be back for the second leg at the end of the month. Of course it could be that he's out for the season.

    Guess it's good that he would have been missing for most of that time anyway. Shouldn't affect us too badly.

    A 3 week minor injury with further problems unlikely is still better to us than losing him for potentially 6 weeks.

    I heard he reported for the national team with a broken toe and was deemed unlikely to be fit for the tournament.

    Don't know if it's televised, but I was able to get streams of past editions without much difficulty. It's where I first got a glimpse of the legend that was Emmanuel Mayuka.
