Good win at the end of the day bar a great save by Valdez and the bar Chelsea would have run out easier winners. Defence looked sound top of the league.

Good win away from home against a dogged side. We really could have gotten 1 or 2 more but the post and some bad finishing let us down. Was squeaky bum time there in the last 10 mins. Was convinced Boro would equalise.

Good result and top of the league to boot. KTBFFH! <ok>

The boys had to work hard for their money today, but that was no surprise . Middlesbrough were a tough nut to crack, and by the end I had no fingernails left. I can relax now and sink a few glasses in celebration!

Very good win in the end after some Boro pressure at first, and for once, I even got the score right !!!!. Thought it would be tough, but we did deserve the win and were pretty damned good after the first 15mins or so. Those shooting boots need some tuning, missed some good chances today, and several players were off target. Nice to win tough after the rollocking display last time. Things will be tougher next couple of games, but looking forward to that big time.

would have taken a 0-0 result before kick off. However with the chances we created we could / should have scored 4 more goals.

I sincerely hope Willian or Batters to replace Pedro next game against Spuds.

We cannot be lenient in our finishing against Mighty LUCK aka FLUKE aka SPUDS.

Give it a rest mate, wasn't even close to being a sitter. The technique was outstanding and had he scored it was a goal of the season contender. He contributed well again yesterday and is keeping Willian out of the side on merit IMO.

    Have to agree here.

Pedros first chance was what you could call a sitter but it wasn't like it was a bad miss. Valdes made a great save.

That 2nd chance where he hit the bar was a great strike and hardly a sitter.

His worst bit of play was the bad cross/shot to hazard which valdes collected.

Overall i'm still very happy with his play, he offers speed width and he was intelligently bringing fabio inside which was giving moses acres of space.

I thought Ramires didn't help Fabio - letting him fully exposed.

I am not sure Pedro's cross bar hit was difficult than Costa's goal from the set piece.
Pedro's is not even volley. He had loads of time. Could have taken a touch and passed it in.
Whereas Costa was surrounded by 4 Boro players all within half a yard. He had very acute angle.
Costa had no right to score from there. But he did. Other than that shot, Costa & Hazard didn't take any shots yesterday.
That is very bad. cannot afford that against Spuds.

For Valdes greatest save ever - that is another huge miss from Pedro. Direct at Valdes.
Pedro could have squared it for Costa 2 yards out for a tap in.

Seriously if Spuds can take anything from the Bridge - I will consider them as a threat for Top 4.
If not - they will flatter to deceive just like last season.

Poch hasn't won anything or accomplished anything. Last season he did a Harry Redknapp.
His first target is to finish above Goons let alone title. He is overrated or perhaps too much expectation on his shoulders.
