West Brom midfielder Borja Valero has completed his transfer to Villarreal after impressing on-loan at the Spanish outfit last season. The 26-year-old was the Baggies' record signing when he joined them for £4.7 million in 2008. But he failed to settle in the Premier League and has now left for an undisclosed fee. The Spain international - capped once by his country - has spent the last two seasons on loan in his homeland. A season long deal with Real Mallorca was followed by another year-long spell away from the Hawthorns with Villarreal. He did enough for the Yellow Submarine to convince them to bring him to the club on a permanent basis, playing 35 games and scoring three goals last season for the La Liga side.
