What do we make of some of his comments in this? His celebration was also fairly strange, was it aimed at Moyes? http://m.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/39608545
Is he playing for us or his future ?. These players need to perform for other clubs to prove themselves and stay in the premier league and is going to be ironic they start playing now. 2 goals in a season is very poor for a striker, Khazri should never have been dropped for the likes of Junaz or Larsson.
Seems like he's saying that the dressing room is fragmented which he tried to cover up by saying that we've missed key players in there through injury. Probably half the squad want to crack on and be professional and the other half spend all their time bitching about Moyes and especially when they aren't getting picked.
Perhaps Borini talking about a disjointed team dressing room is also due to the injuries we've had. Other side of also is little motivational man managment causing conflicts. A very dour outlook imo. I think Short is rightly taking flack by running the club as a business and delegating the football side to too many non football people. By getting Baine and the guy from Rangers could be helping to recorrect our previous failings. Not sure the damaged dour Moyes is the right coach to head up the team though. Time will tell.
It could be anything really. Maybe Kone angling for a move at the start of the season has put a few noses out of joint. Maybe there are certain players who don't get on with other certain players. Maybe, some, like van Aanholt apparently was, are unhappy with Moyes or his methods. Whatever it is, it would be best for all concerned if they found a way of pulling together and found it quick.
I think I'd be a bit pissed if my new manager started bringing in loads of his mates, who clearly weren't of good quality. Especially when he seems to favour them when it comes to selection. Plus it's becoming more and more apparent, he's a pretty **** coach who the players don't find inspiring.
Think it looks to me as if he's lost the dressing room. The knee slide in front of Moyes face looked to me like a big '**** you'. He speaks about having extra training sessions at home because he's not getting enough at the SAFC training ground, think PVA also complained about the training sessions once he'd left.
Ohh yeah, not sure if you've seen it but he scored, made a bee-line for the bench and celebrated with a knee slide right in front of the bench, can't say for 100% but it looked to be aimed at Moyes. Pretty embarrassing from him really, when he's been guff all season.
Fair enough if it was the winner but at this point in time, 1 point really doesn't do much. Not seen it but seems a strange thing to do imo.
It looked like a **** to you Moyes in all honesty for dropping him, which was totally justified imo. Then his strange interview afterwards tells me Moyes has pretty much lost the dressing room. Borini's agent has also been making his mouth go in public through the week saying he's definitely going to leave which I don't suppose helps anyone.
Not sure I would agree that it's justified, you expect players to be professional at all times really. Ibra was dropped today for Rashford and I wouldn't have expected a knee slide from him, had he scored when he come on.
No no, sorry, maybe I'd worded it poorly - I meant that I think Moyes dropping Borini was totally justified. Said earlier the knee slide was embarrassing. Great performance from your boys today btw, tactically outstanding from Mourinho. Big testes from him to drop Ibra as well.
Ah yeah, I agree then! Great dominating performance from the boys, hopefully shuts a few people up now about certain things and players.
He did the same last year under Sam. I think it was a last minute equaliser vs Palace, for another Desmond. Borini trying to prove his worth... yet again.
Herrera ran the show from start to finish. Completely shut Hazard down. I've been saying it all season he's phenomenal.
