Not a bad game to start season off, we gained the 3 pts, which is what matters but should've wrapped it up in first half. Second half we dropped momentum a bit and gave Bolton a chance to claw their way back into it, must admit, it was like walking a tight rope towards end with Bolton seriously looking for an equaliser. Much better and quicker passing between players, and quite a few defence splitting through balls, which seems to be an improvement on last season. I think when we have Klich, Saiz and Alioski on pitch at same time we're going to increase our strength up front, and probably start to see more edge of box shots. For an away game I think Hernandez played pretty well, but can he maintain it throughout season both home and away? Weinwald needs to learn to come out and jump to catch balls coming in from corners and crosses, he made a mistake with Boltons first goal, he should've had it; looks to me like he didn't judge the flight of the ball at all, and it resulted in a goal. But, we won, got 3 points and sit in top 6, but very early days yet. TC will probably make a couple of changes for next match, including for the injured, hopefully he recognises his best 11 before 5 games are played. youtube TC's post match interview Parkinson post match interview
