Off to Deadwood on Saturday to hopefully send the Plastics closer to oblivion of league 1 football next season. Not as easy as it would have been under the hapless Owen Coyle, since the potting of the man of cliches the Venky's appointed Tony Mowbray and since then sadly their results have improved, they are five unbeaten. They have scrambled out of the relegation zone although still are flirting too close for their own good.
As all Blackburn fans tell us, football only began in 1992 and they are also quite good at reminding us that they won the league in 1995 mainly down to the kung fu kick of Eric Cantona and the goals of Alan Shearer, not actually saying Jack Walker bought the title but he did.
The support of the Plastic ones has dropped to about 10,000 manly protesting against the owners by not turning up to games unless they play United in the cup when they protest by turning up and not having a protest.
Odd bunch those at Venky land still suffering delusions of grandeur that they were once Premier League champions, 22 years later they are £100 million in debt and could go down to League 1, think it's about time they smelt the coffee, glory days have gone and will not be returning any time soon.
Have to ensure we keep a close eye on Gallagher and Graham, apparently Mulgrew and Evans have returned to training and could play on Saturday. Whislt Wednesday loannee Joao is on a scoring binge at the moment.
As for us Baptiste and Vermijl are back in training cannot see many changes from last weeks demolition of Reading.
Over 5500 tickets sold, probably be the only ones there.
Finally it will be good to send them down only fair really, and sometime on Saturday night the entire place is razed from the face of the earth with an errant Nuclear attack by Trump.

Nothing like a late equaliser at the ground of your nearest rivals to steal a point which for the vast majority of the game we possibly didn't deserve but as it was the Plastics ceratinly not bothered about upsetting them.
6005 North Enders made the journey to the epicentre of 14th century civilization, North End were unchanged from the side that wasted Reading last week and for once we started off really well and penned Rovers back and it was no surprise that we took the lead, long ball from the back, good Hugill header and Barkuizen finished well to score his fourth goal in three games.
A bit of Rovers pressure and North End got slightly lucky when Maxwell spilled one but luckily the home attack couldn't capitalise.
North End should have doubled their lead when Hugill broke away but delayed his pass too long and the ball was cleared and that for a long time was the last we saw of North End on top.
Joao had a header well saved b Maxwell after a uper cross from the right by Williams, Joao was having a decent game for the Plastics with a few party tricks along the way, North End's defence struggled to cope with him and the movement off the ball by the home side.
Rovers were winning all second balls and finding lots of space down either flank and a goal was on the cards for them for quite a while before they scored and it came just before half time, when Bennett 25 yards out took aim and found the bottom corner, good goal sadly cue for goal music(how out of date is that)
Rovers thought they had taken the lead when Joao beat the entire North End back line about three times, he should have shot didn't fed the ball through to Emnes who put the ball in from close range happily though offside.
Two early chances in the second half for North End, Barkuizen possibly should have scored with the first whilst the second a cross from the left failed to get a decisive touch from a yellow shirt in the six yard box.
However Rovers again were soon on the front foot and soon ahead, Joao playing in Conway who had the simple taskk of potting it past Maxwell, this wasn't in the script 2-1 down.
Rovers were running riot at this moment whilst North End were a pale shadow of last weeks team. the home side had chances missed them and we looked to have weathered the storm. Substitutions were made and Gallagher was brought on and immediately we started to pass the ball better.
McGeady was starting to look more dangerous although when well placed was stopped by a whistle from the 12 years olds stationed near the away fans, seemed to fire North End up, into stoppage time Huntington scored sadly disallowed for offside the deep joy of the home fans was so plain to see when the flag went up however theyt were not laughing when Gallagher threded a pass to Clarke onto McGeady and into the net it went 2 all mass celebrationin the way hand lots of victory salutes and other greeting to the home supporters, felt like a win. Five behind sixth place with games against Forest and Brizzle at Deepdale to come, two week break for dull International football then we all start on the run in.
