But I hope someone can help. I have been in Castle Hill for a few weeks getting over surgery and I am getting out on Feb 1st. Now I have been staying in a hotel but now I need something more permanent for my recovery. Is anybody in need of a room mate to share a flat or house? I can probably afford 300 to 400 a month rent Quite a lot of people on here have met me so they can vouch for me being an ok honest kind of guy and Hull City crazy :) Does anybody on here have anything like that or know someone who might be looking for a roomie? No WS fans please I draw the line somwhere egg chasers OK but not my game please leave a message if you know of anyone

I can't help with a room I'm afraid, but I thought I'd reply to bump this up the list.

Glad to hear you seem to be getting better, and good luck with the search. <ok>

I might just have something for you John. A friend of mine is looking for a lodger after the previous ones moved on. It's a three bedroom on Chants ave, he's a City fan and I can vouch for him being a nice fella. £300 to £400 is in the region. PM me if this sounds promising to you. Glad to hear you're recovering mate.

You'd be welcome at ours John but we have a boisterous blue Staffie, and he wouldn't understand that you're probably a bit fragile at the moment.

John, for £300-400 per month you could get your own place rather than lodge!

Suspect he's after £300-400 all in, rather than just on rent.

Just go on Zoopla and look at flats to rent in Hull, there's everything from rooms to let, studios, through to flats, several at only around £200 a month.

Sounds to me, John, that you wish to move from being a hotel guest to being a lodger, with or without board. I think those pointing you at taking on 3-6 month commitment are missing your needs. Is that right, as it wil help focus thoughts?

If looking at agencies on Chants, avoid MRC, they're a set of ****s. I was with them a few years back. Avoid.
