Youtube highlights not very good, bad camera work. Not brilliant football by us, Birmingham had better of the first half, then pretty mixed in second. What worry's me is, if we take this level of mediocre football into playoffs, and everyone is not performing to their full potential, will it be enough to win ugly yet again, or will we get hammered; realism tells me the latter at moment. Are the players, who've continually played all season getting fatigued, losing a bit of form, or just plain tired. What paces are the players being put through at training, is it enough, to much or too little? When we play in the playoff finals, which look likely now barring a complete meltdown, if the above is happening, it will show for all to see, and any one of the other 3 teams will pick up on it. Was Pontus playing cautiously because of his yellow card situation, or is he tiring.......food for thought. Thoughts anyone? https://www.leedsunited.com/video/85111/freeview-birmingham-post-match-garry-monk
Thoughts? watched the game or 75% of it thought you were fooking awful Birmingham were not much better but didnt deserve to lose. you rode your luck which you seem to be doing quite well at present. what was good was once you let the goal in you did seem more than capable of going on to score a second, if you played that way for 90 mins you would be in with a shout of making the playoffs and possibly winning them. having said all that it is now all about points and not so much performances and you are running up the points so for the time being its working we have a big game today would i take a bad performance and 3 points or a good performance and 1 or 0 points ? BET YOUR ASS I WOULD TAKE THE 3 POINTS
you have more than a shout of making the playoffs you have one foot in there what i said was making them and winning them dozy bollox
Hang on, hang on.... Lets just revisit this. You talk of you getting promoted or making playoffs this season and you are calling olof dozy bollocks? ****ing hell you are on irony overload!
It won't last but, at least on paper, we have a chance of auto - Brighton 7 ahead but have to visit ER and faltering a little, Hudders only a point ahead. It may look a bit different after Tuesday, here's hoping but fearing the worst from that one
I think Ayling and Bartley are after the QPR game but there is no cut off for Jannson because he has already served the 10 bookings suspension. Could be wrong!!
Morning troops. Not our best performance of the season, but 3pts away from home is no bad thing. And Wood's goal was a bit special. How many millions did we pay for him? 3 wasn't it? Not too shabby. A goal for Pedraza was timely as well. Think he will be real competition for Hernandez. Alternatively, he gives us another option. All in all, not a bad day's work & 3 more points towards playoffs at least
Do we think it's time to bring Roofe back in in place of Hernandez? He played in that role really well when Hernandez was injured earlier in the season and for me has shown his best form there rather than out wide. With Hernandez maybe starting to tire/lose form I think it wouldn't be a bad option
