We only sack people when we're in the bottom three. No ambition at all from the owner. No 'This simply isn't good enough, you're fired' because survival in this league is the only remit. Things have to get really bad before changes are made. It's been the same throughout ME's ownership and to be honest, I'm ****in' bored of it! Marcus out!
How often have the fans been at each others throats or stood in two very different camps since Marcus bought us? It always has to get so bad before he does anything. I can't stand it. The supporters get divided and most can see the problems but the ones who make the decisions never do **** about it. What the **** has happened to our club?
I reckon there are all types of number scams being run at the club. How does he pay the shirt sponsorship? Is it a sum of money that he actually pays to the club or just a minus line on the debt? I can't for the life of me understand why you wouldn't want to sell that shirt space to a different company that would bring cash in from an outside source. We're being crippled from within.
It's just very weird that in all the time he's been the Owner he has never once given a public interview! Why dies he want this anoinimty? Perhaps he's afraid that the Russian mafia will finally suss him if he breaks cover!
There may well be a case for the serious fraud one day, combined with a revolt from supporters who have had enough, fireworks time and major blood-letting! Only then will we, the innocent passionate committed- maybe we should be! - will we discover the truth behind it all. We are very near to this scenario.
Well there's definitely a case to be brought by Trading Standards for claiming to be a football club!
