I know loss of life shouldn't be a laughing matter, but this almost qualifies for a Darwin Award nomination Druggie/ASBO merchant gets bitten by his own dog in his digs - while a BBC documentary film crew are interviewing him. Can just imagine the 'OH ****!!' reactions..... http://www.bbc.com/news/uk-england-39428323
If the guy was some wannabee gangster : 1. The fact he has died thus has probably met several criteria for being on the Darwin Awards list. 2. Perhaps the dog is the criminal worlds' equivalent of Arrys' "Rosie" , and killed the guy as a warning to gang members that financial incompetence will not be tolerated.
As long as the trip is aboard a surface to air missile, and there's no one around the optician's office.
Bradley Lowery update. Bradley returned to hospital on Monday for a week of treatment. Jermain Defoe was intending to visiting him yesterday but Bradley was too poorly to want to see his "best mate". Thankfully, Bradley was feeling better today and was delighted to hear he has been invited to the Grand National next week as a VIP and was reunited with his pal Jermain Defoe who called into see him. Best wishes to the little man and once again . to the legend that is Jermain Defoe.
The real feel good story will be when this kid beats this terrible cancer neuroblastoma. It's great that Jermain is the driving force behind keeping his story in the public eye. Funds need to be raised for the specialist treatment he needs. Of course, necessary treatment isn't available in this country (it wouldn't be, would it?). It's a shame our government doesn't see fit to provide and/or fund such treatment - the cost must be a miniscule fraction of the taxes the likes of Google avoid paying.
Great to see Jim back at the Lane (before its demolished). You can see he's been through the mill but here's hoping he has plenty of quality time still to come. Good Luck Jim, one of the best EVER. COYS.
