Raheem Sterling becomes the latest player to pick up a "knock" and seems certain to withdraw from the travelling circus. Why we insist on being cleaner than a nun's underwear is beyond me. We should be pulling the same dirty tricks as everyone else.
For our American viewers: Nothing official yet, but it seems that someone ****ed up and posted the dates on the organiser's site.
Yet when Gareth Bale missed the London Corporate Event Masquerading As a Glorified Sports Day with a legitimate injury, the press - including the BBC - claimed we were faking. If only Levy thought "**** it" and sued...
Ozil and Draxler pull out with hamstring injuries, Gotze with a groin strain Anyone believe a word of that?
No. Because according to the press gossip, Ozil is currently suffering from carpal tendon strain (which is obviously why he has not yet signed a new contract with the Goons) . Which AFAIK doesn't affect his legs.
My thoughts are with the victims of today's events in Westminster and their families and friends. May we learn to live in peace together before we destroy this world over our petty differences.
Gotze's out for the season with a metabolic disorder. They're not even sure what it means for his career, IIRC. Groin strain? Don't know where that came from.
Tickets for home matches doesn't get mentioned a lot on here, but I see there were over 24000 member applications for just over 5000 available tickets for the final NLD at the Lane. Amazing.
Coincidentally, that's about the price that second-hand tickets for the Watford and Bournemouth matches are going on StubHub ...that may have been a slight exaggeration.
Obviously a lot of WUMs want to be there for when the Goons precious St Totts day dies (if Wenger hasn't done it himself by then) .
Probably because he's not very good, unfortunately. Didn't realise that the fight was last night. Shame, as I'd have watched it.
I am one of the lucky ones to get one...I find the NLD unbearable to watch on tv so try to be out (like the last one) and have my daughters and mates giving me updates...or go into hiding behind the sofa or another room if I am stupid enough to try and watch one (the previous 2 NLDs). I can kind of cope watching in a pub...kind of but am ok at the match cos the atmosphere is brilliant.
