Well there will be some bias in there for sure - we're rivals after all and it's nature to despise your rivals.

You can't argue that Barton hasn't been a complete twat everywhere he has been surely. Just off the top of my head:

Man City: cigar incident with youth player
Newcastle: the obvious rivalry, goading on Twitter, punching Morton Gamst-Pedersen
Marseille: the horrific French accent in the interview
Burnley: trying to get a non-league player sent off by play acting

That's without even trying or looking for anything.

I thought bias might crop up and it is true to an extent we're bound to see a **** who plays for Newcastle as a bigger **** than one who plays for West Brom.

I definitely believe that Newcastle have a long history of signing (and worshipping) twattish players though. As a comparison, we can easily name a dozen of their players who are known dickheads but could they say the same about us? Cattermole maybe but even that's clutching at straws, when's the last time he stamped, or elbowed, or scratched, or spat? ****ing never. He's just clumsy in the tackle.

El Haj Diouf - couldn't stand him even when he played for us. Absolutely no redeeming features at all.

    filling in a few gaps:
with us - punching kids in the street in Manchester, creating a dressing room bust up with Shearer when he was manager
QPR - the assault on the Man City team on the last day of the season
Marrseille - taking the piss out of Ibrahimovic's nose (he'd ****ing kill a weed like Barton)
Glasgow - booted out for being a ****er and having the nerve to criticise other players whilst being **** himself
the self indulgent, smug autobiography with him taking the credit for anything good that happened at a club when he was there
being a sexist twat on News Night
generally thinking he's football's answer to Des Cartes

    could go on forever really.

Don't think we've worshipped many twattish players, who are you referring to in particular? We were well glad to see the back of the likes of Barton and Bowyer, Bellamy was a nutter but a bad egg like the other 2.

No, not in the same league as Barton, both just wanted to move on and better themselves, not cheating or harming anybody in the process, unlike Joey B.
