Wasn't there rumours that Sam was unsettled at Sunderland even before the England job become available. If so, why would he come back?

If as it seems likely according to reports Sam is leaving Palace cause he couldn't get assurances from the owners with regards to player investment then he's hardly likely to come running in our direction is he.

Which manager will come to us knowing that Short is keeping the purse strings tightly closed? Or is he?

Whoever does bite the bullet will have his work cut out but the rewards could be huge, and I dont just mean his pay packet. To resurrect this club by firstly keeping us out of League 1 next season then returning us to the Premiership would give him great kudos within football and we could be used as a stepping stone for greater things for a truly ambitious manager. Watch this space.

For what it's worth, I don't think there's much chance of it happening as much as I'd like it to!!

Moyes n Sam resign a week before the Barcelona job becomes available. Coincidence or not? <laugh>.

    Haha.

Wrote off the season and took a sabbatical.

New start now so I'm back. Hoping some of the repetitive negativity can pass now and we can all focus on recovery.

The gaffer will decide that I guess but Moyes going was a ****ing delight in itself, hapless twat.

Relegation is not the be all and end all mate. I've thoroughly enjoyed this season and rekindled my love of the game. Been to nine away games, a couple of new grounds, and every one has been a good laugh.
IMO you're well shot of Moyes. For blokes like you I hope you have a good season.
