Big Guns are Chasing Matt

Another of our youngsters, one well known to this Board, Matt O'Riley is hitting the back page headlines as Liverpool and the Manchester mob are said to be chasing his signature.




"Liverpool are one of three clubs interested in signing Fulham starlet Matt O'Riley, according to reports. The 15-year-old, who is a regular for the Championship club's Under-18 side, is regarded as one of the best young players in England.

O'Riley is yet to sign on with Fulham's academy though, which has alerted the likes of Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester City. The Sun say teenager O'Riley's skill set has seen people liken him to Italy legend Andrea Pirlo."


Praise indeed. What's the lowdown Doriley? (in the strictest confidence of course).

 

I'd like to think that the not606 link will keep him at Fulham for a few years.
