Everyone can dream about winning the EPL title thanks to Leicester City football club ... even Spurs and 'Pool fans ... although, realistically, I can't see any addition to the 'exclusive 6 club' this decade ... but you never know
Cheers buddy ... but I'm actually feeling a lot better every day and the enforced break from the daily grind is rather nice ... Good start for you boys (although Newcastle haven't really improved on the squad that got relegated as far as I can see - only Mickey Quinn seems to be under the delusion that they will be comfortably safe ) - acid test this weekend as Conte will need a reaction from his players ...
Good to hear Fosse. Was a sluggish start but we found our feet...Jonjo helped. Big game this weekend, I won't say much about it! How do you think you will finish? Mahrez skulking about? Get rid?
Shelvey was a grade one prick ... you can wind Dele up quite easily without having to do something so stupid ... still think you would have won because I think, particularly given Ashley's comments that he has no 'disposable' cash for transfers, the Toon are gonna have a tough season. I think we'll be fine ... we were doing well at Arsenal until Shakey had a bit of a spaz out with his subs ... plus Ozil would have been pulled up 9 times out of 10 for that deliberate controlling of the ball with his arm that led to the equalizer ... if that had been given then I think we might even have held out for the win. I'd sell Mahrez ... he is still contributing but plenty of our fans are now getting on his back .. short memories. We need to move on - would like to see another signing - a quality right back would be good.
OK so you're proposing your most highly paid striker who takes pens, versus one of our currently injured CMs who doesn't take pens in terms of goals scored? #desperate
How about a straight who finishes higher? Pool or the Tofees? Think they look solid and on an upward spiral of good fortune and Liverpool will win more than they lose. Can see it being a close one between you two. Everton seem slightly more stable this season than Pool
I've been asking @Tobes to take that bet for months, and he keeps replying "I need to wait until the window closes before I judge"
So far I have my annual Man Utd v LFC £20 charity bet with @Stan (he paid up last year) And another £20 charity bet with @Archers Road on van Dijk joining Liverpool this window
