Best Player in the Championship?

Who do people think is currently the best player in the championship? As in who would be able to make the step up and play in the Premier League and not be out of their depth, there are some obvious names and please try to avoid loans (or add a separate loan name)
I'll kick it off with:

Best Player: Tom Ince


Best Loan player: Josh McEachran

 

Zaha looks up there at the moment to be honest

Obvious picks would also be Charlie Austin and Peter Whittingham. I find it hard to pick one though

 

Best Goalkeeper - Speroni
Best Defender - James Chester
Best Midfielder - Whittingham
Best Striker - Austin / Aluko

 

Don't think Aluko beats out any of Austin, Murray, Zaha, Ince, McCormack, Bellamy. Don't get me wrong, looks a good player just not the best in the league in his position

All the rest though I wouldn't have a huge problem with them being labelled the best in their position in the league

 

Best keeper- Jack Butland. He was superb when we played Birmingham

Best defender- Wes Morgan, Complete tank. Solid and has the most clean sheets out of the defenders in the league

Best midfield- Wilfried Zaha. Been a cut above everything in the division this season

Best striker- Charlie Austin top scorer and he has been superb. Without his goals Burnley would be in deep deep trouble

 

Add Anthony Knockaert to that list. Aluko was crap when we played them and Anthony Knockaert pulled their defender inside out

 

Well I was actually contemplating adding Knockaert to that list but I only added players in that have been playing as part of a front 3 or as a striker given it was for best striker. I thought Knockaert was more a central midfielder?

 

Doesn't take much to be fair, Sinclair from P'boro managed to get a bloody hat-trick against us and it's the only game he's scored in this season.

 

On form trotter is best player in division at the mo scoring goals and bossin games.
Best loan has to be woods just like Austin is pulling teams apart

 

Aluko was poor at Leicester but then has been quality for us in most other games so to make out he isn't good enough for the 'list' on the basis of one game is pretty short sighted.

 

Knockaert is a winger but Nigel gives him a free role which is when he is at his best. You will find him anywhere just behind the strikers

 

Knockaert didnt score a hat trick Nugent did

 

Wouldn't say he is the best player in the division but he is performing well, in fact would fit nicely alongside Austin in the Leeds midfield....

 

This is his first season playing upfront anyway, and he has been very good at it. But, he was a winger before ,who now wants to play up front!

 

If we vote on the best signing or free signing, then Aluko has to win that one!

 

Charles you seem to think Hull have all the best players in the league. Aluko has been decent so far but he still has a very long way to go before you can build him up like you do.

 

Was it last season there was a thread on the best championship 11. One of the Hull fans (coulda been charlie, wouldn't surprise me) practically picked a Hull player in every position and argued the point on every single one. They think they have the best team in the world with no weaknesses

 

Best team in the world... That would obviously be Ipswich!

 

Proud you seem to think all Hull players are mediocre and Leicester's are world beaters.

 

No that wasn't me, I know who it was, but I can't remember it off the top of my head!
