Thanks FML and I'm absolutely fine, as my brother had been very poorly for a long time and it was a relief in the end.

Sorry JM, but the Denmark was further up Sprowston Rd opposite the lighting shop.
FCT used to be the Wherry, a (grotty) Whitbread pub <ok>
I used to manage the Branford Arms (RIP) so did 'the rounds' on my nights off.

I'm curious to see the enlargements / improvements to the place - it was closed for months!
Ideal for me if I have to change buses in Castle Meadow from the NNUH to Cromer <ok>

It was closed for 5 months instead of 4 and there is a huge bar upstairs and over 100 extra seats - I'm sure you'll approve and I'll give you my thoughts if I'm sber enough on Tue night!!!!

The guy interviewed said 6 trad ales and 12 craft beers.
But I did espy an Abbot pump clip, so that's me happy!!
The cellar looks bloody amazing - I've spent ages in pub / hotel cellars before now having worked in the trade, but that one is all singing and dancing - totally automated line-cleaning?! <cheers>

Yes Cromer, it dies seem money well spent and the cellar looks superb.
We'll have to 'agree to disagree', as for me, my choice of ale is 'ABA' anything BUT Abbott - though I know lots of people like it and I much prefer nearly all of the 'Oakham' ales and the odd pint of Jaipur!! <cheers>

Plough on St Benedicts. Lovely place, ale from "Grain Brewery" which I had never heard of. Turns out they are new and based in Harleston which is about 15 minutes from where I grew up. Lovely Indian pale ale.

You wouldn't know from the street that this place has a lovely beer garden, very big, plus a built in area to BBQ! Will come back here one night. Check out the atmosphere, I recon it would be great.
