9-7 will be more than good enough this season to make playoffs.

49ers hit rock bottom today. Just what has happened these past few years?

On the other side of the coin- big credit to the Detroit Lions today on an awesome performance in New Orleans.

Some of the Major university games are really good. Atmosphere is even better than NFL games.

Lions are really surprising. However - cannot look too much into their record.

NFC East & AFC South are two very underwhelming divisions. Lions play 8 of their games against these oppositions.

don't know what happened to Wilson.
Seakawks vs Panthers in Seattle is Fugly.

Lot of turnovers in the opening few minutes itself.
    Defense vs Defense firmly.

    San Diego, seen off.

One has to respect the team solidarity at Raymond James, when the whole Bucs roster came onto the field, after a particularly bad knee injury, to wish Cecil Shorts well.

Oh if you meant UK universities, then from my experience I agree, Bobby. The quality is shocking. I'd definitely be up for going to a US uni game at Wembley.

I couldn't bear to watch the Jets get massacred last night.
Truth be told, I did watch through my fingers.

The team is old and slow in key positions and aren't playing with much passion anymore.
Looking forward, it might be some time before we are respectable again.

couldn't believe you guys got massacred. Doesn't surprise me with Luck being a good quarterback but thought you offence would have produced a bit more against the colts porous defence even if you have Fitzpatrick!

The defense, which used to be the strength of the team, is absolute garbage this year. Andrew Luck, when kept upright, is top class. One sack last night against a thrown-together offensive line, is absolutely pathetic.

Ryan Fitzpatrick has never been consistent, always up then down. This year is a down year for him. Unfortunately the Jets drafted QBs in the last two years that are "projects" and didn't catch fire when given the chance [Zak Prescott, etc.] so the future is murky. Frankly the Jets haven't had a great draft class in many, many years at any position.

Yeah sorry, that's meant to read despite fitzpatrick. I know that guy is as inconsistent as they come. Still though that Colt defence is woeful (or so i thought).

Credit where due to the Kansas City Chiefs.

They have ground it out and been quietly getting it done this season. Play Offs beckon for them once again.

This Vikings - Jags game is appalling. Both offenses are ****e so it's 9-9 at half-time.

I'm glad this isn't the first ever NFL game I ever watched, otherwise I don't think I'd have been bothered by it. Thankfully my first was a crazy thriller with the Ravens and (I think) the 49ers.

Disgraceful play from Washington on the Eagles receiver.

The one thing I hate about the NFL is that there are some real cowardly acts and zero tackling technique

FFS, the hell is wrong with our offense that we can't even get one friggin' yard in the red zone?!
