Albert Einstein said thedefinition of insanity is doing something over and over again and expecting a different result.
Because he's a very stubborn man. That's why Fergus was a better manager than Wenger, he knew when to make key changes which enabled him to continue winning, yet produce good football. But he also knew when it was time to retire which Wenger doesn't realise.
Chamberlain is a useless sack of ****. How he gets in the side ahead of Perez I have no ****ing idea. He's inferior in every aspect.
5-1 and it's officially a spanking. Will this be the tipping point for Wenger to stand down this year?
That's what worries me. Those nob jockies are only interested in the money that Wenger brings in by regular CL qualifications. They couldn't give a sh1t if we kept on getting knocked out at this stage every year and 4th in the league. We can get a quality replacement but I don't have any faith that they are doing enough to. They are happy with the current business model...
That was brutal, and I mean that. We offered absolutely nothing second half. A truly awful cup exit. As for arsene, not sure where he goes from here...he has quite the task to lift the players after this, never mind the fans...
This proves without a doubt what a lot of us were saying about Wenger, that he was past it. Even with better players he is producing the same results!
What an embarrassment. Lose to Chelsea, get smashed by Bayern. Wengers teams cannot handle the pressure. Sanchez looked like the only player who could handle the pressure. Ospina was poor, Chamberlain gave the ball away consistently, Gibbs looked like a nervous wreck, Coquelin struggled and Iwobi had some good moments but made alot of errors. We stick with the same players regardless of performance. What does Perez have to do to get in the side?!
Barcelona: God that was awful last night, nobody could possibly put in a worse first leg performance than that Arsenal: Hold my beer
Perez and Welbeck. To be honest though, I don't think they would have made a difference. We were completely outclassed.
This will be Wengers final year but unfortunately it'll be on a low point. He should have retired on the back of 2 FA Cup wins. He should have followed Fergie's lead and retire on a high...
Sanchez looked absolutely enraged at the end of that, understandably. He was the only player out there who looked as though he gave a ****e. Will be gone in the summer there is no question about it.
