**** me, what a load of ****. This competition is boring as **** now in terms of it's predictability, even Real Madrid would have been better, much better.
Load of ****e, seriously. So utterly tedious to have to play this lot again in the last 16, and we all know what the outcome will be.
It's not even the fact that we are playing a strong side, it's just the fact that it's bloody Bayern, every season is like ground hog day.
But...... at least this time we're at home second rather than first. That hasn't happened in a long, long time. And could make all the difference. Or at least not make it quite so predictable.
I'm not even annoyed that we're 'unlucky' enough to be playing one of the best sides in the competition; I'm annoyed that we've had to play these ****s for 4 out of the last 5 years in the CL. At the very least, couldn't we have faced Real Madrid or a team like that? So tedious playing Bayern for the umpteenth time. We're probably getting knocked out, but I'm not too bothered about that because at the end of day, we topped our group and the luck of the draw sadly threw us one of the favourites. It's just the way life goes, but why the fack did it have to be them?
I suppose there are a couple of positives in that we play the second leg at home and I honestly believe we have a better team than when we've played them in the last few years
If we want to win the competition we are going to have to beat the best teams so we may as well start now
We played Bayern 8 times in recent years, there is nothing exiting in playing them for us. I would much prefer Real. Or any other team in the draw.
To be honest I'm just annoyed it's Bayern. I would have been happy with another big team like Real Madrid. It will be interesting to see how they play under a different manager though and I do think we are stronger than the last few Seasons.
