What really grinds my gears at The Valley, is you cannot get a Bourbon, neat, at Half-Time or before the match in the concourse.

Bovril. Surely that's dwindling, the amount of people drinking the stuff.

There are things called 'Hip Flasks' which can easily be slipped into your pocket <ok> filling it with something like JD's 'White Rabbit' should do the trick :)

Maybe a bit of a long shot - but have a stag this weekend in Bucharest. Has anyone been before? If so, any recommendations?

Sad to see Arnold Palmer pass. Not the biggest golf fan, but my father loved him.

Great golfer, great man. I went to Troon when I was 14 to see him win the open, in the days when they had to play 2 rounds on the final day. Peter Alliss gave an awful tribute to him on the radio, which did not even mention the exciting style of play which gave rise to "Arnie's Army". His mannerisms like the way he hitched up his trousers before lashing a drive miles down the fairway, or the knock-kneed putting stance before chargeing the putt straight at the middle of the hole. His heir was Seve, and when Ballesteros holed an 80-yard pitch to beat him in the match play near the end of his career, he knew it and I believe he said something like "Some things are meant to be".
BTW I also had the privilege of seeing Sam Snead that day.

Andy Murray's next opponent could have the wonderful name of Jock Sock. I wonder if his middle initial is "S"? He's American by the way.

Pfft, if you listen to anyone other than Richard Hunt you're barking up the wrong tree.

Anybody watch the mcgregor fight? Fell asleep drunk, only to wake up at 6, just before it started.

Fell asleep around 4 - same reason as you and watched it when I woke up. Guess this cements him as the best striker in UFC. Cue calls for him and mayweather to fight.

I'm certain he knows he would get destroyed, but the money will be too much to turn down.
