I didn't no, haven't seen any Champs for ages apart from some finals, sounds like one of the competitions' all time classic games though.
It was something special to watch. Barcelona got a bit lucky with some of the decisions and there was quite a bit of diving from Suarez and Neymar but it was still an exciting game. PSG got their game plan wrong and looked all over the place for a lot of the game but when they got their goal it became quite tense and nervy for Barcelona. Luis Enrique has been criticised for not being charismatic enough and being a bit more direct than Barcelona usually are but he got them through this one and will surely be remembered for it.
Watch it till psg scored then turned it over to watch the city game because I thought it was over. Then check my bets and seen it was 5-1 then put it straight back on. Psg are bottle jobs end of. That could really **** up there season now.
Thinking about it I'd have been rooting for PSG, I can't stand the likes of Neymar cheating from the first whistle to the last. PSG will be stunned by that for some time you'd have to think. It's interesting about Enrique, he's done well with them but is leaving because his personality isn't dazzling enough. I think you've got to say you're a bit spoilt when you're changing managers for reasons like that. I know he's left voluntarily but it sounds like the media have hounded him out.
I've disliked Barca for a long time, I've no respect for their 'academy and up' style of play, I don't care about their legacy and their boring fans. But PSG got exactly what they deserved they've obviously turned up with an insufficient amount of respect for their opposition. Mourinho would have went there looking for a 0-0, they've obviously turned up assuming the job was done. Even the ****ty teams in La Liga don't all get humped 6-1.
I'm buzzing coz I stuck a fiver on Barca to win the whole thing on just before the game at 33/1, returns £170. Odds for them winning it now are 5/2 Just wish I'd stuck more on it now.
Going on the 17/03/2017 For three nights will each them play valencia Was there 2010 seen mesi score ha trick also against Valencia Maybe the hype will have cooled
Aye mate, an absolute corker of a game and foir 80 minutes I never thought they could pull it off, but **** me did they turn it on.
Fantastic game, but the PSG player who was clean through on goal had the chance to make it 3-2 and blew it, Borini could have scored that one !. Barca will most likely win the champions league now, and that final free kick wow, perfection.
Just watched the highlights, a lot of luck involved for Barca, surprise surprise... Suarez dived for the 2nd pen. Neymar did well though, cracking free kick. As for winners, the way Bayern ripped Arsenal apart ruthlessly, I'd be putting my money there. Hoping Monaco take the tramps down next week as well.
Fantastic 2nd leg recovery - unbelievable ......and about as predictable a result as we have of staying up - I wonder ....
I sincerely hope Bayern rip them another arsehole like they did last season (or the season before) Neymar n Suarez are both cheating b*stards and they got a few iffy decisions cos the media "luvvy's" worship them. Just out of curiosity how often do Barcelona get drawn at home in the 1st leg in the knock out stages? Anybody know?
One good thing to come out of this is that the ****ing scousers can STFU about their greatest comeback in CL history now.
Apparently after the last minure goal seisometers detected ground vibrations - a mini earthquake(i paper 11th march) at our SOL probably open up the infilled Wearmouth Colliery pit shafts - a SOL collapse - lol Seriously, awesome celebations to an awesome recovery
Let's be honest about this..PSG were robbed blind by a couple of scandalous penalty decisions..Greatest come back ever? Not for me because of this..
There was clearly a lot of diving going on but you also have to look at the fact that PSG got their game plan completely wrong, they didn't take the game to Barcelona like they did in the first leg and clearly could have done in this game. Barcelona dominated the game; you can't win dodgy penalties unless you get the ball in the penalty area.
All about opinions but over 70k have a different one. Aytekin's questionable calls... according to the petition 2min: Offside goal by Luis Suarez 11min: Uncalled penalty on Javier Mascherano for handball inside the penalty area 23min: Gerard Pique not sent off 42min: What should have been a second yellow for Gerard Pique turned into Edinson Cavani being booked 45min: Three and a half minutes of added time 48min: Neymar penalty given after forward deliberately seeks contact 54min: Neymar simulates another penalty. No card was given 64min: Aggressive act by Neymar, should have seen red card 78min: Handball by Pique inside the box but not given 85min: Uncalled penalty on Mascherano for challenge on Angel Di Maria inside the area 89min: Obvious dive by Suarez that won a penalty 90min: Five minutes of added time (or until Barcelona score!) 92min: Suarez deserved second yellow card for simulating penalty
