Bullseye! Despite living less than half a mile from the RamJam Club in Brixton I never got to see him. The club hosted a who's who of legends in the 60s including Hendrix, The Cream, Otis Redding and many more but that was just before I was old enough to go to concerts. On the one occasion I did go in there in the early 70s he was away on tour but by then it was much more soul-orientated. It eventually became the Fridge and saw many bands such as the Pet Shop Boys play regularly in the 80s. Ironically it is now a Happy Clappy Church...
