Nyom had made 5 fouls in 30 mins. When will he get booked, Dean?

0 shots on target. Early Kick offs not helping I guess.

Recent history against Baggies isn't not favourable.

Further this continues - it is going to be difficult. TP at his finest <doh>

Not been great but expected from West Brom. Down to us to switch it up and make it happen. They've set up for a draw and won't be doing anything other than protecting their goal. Conversely, the more we let them have the ball, the more likely we will be able to cut them open.

Great Finish but can't help thinking it should have been avoided. McCauley should have sent that into row z with Costa breathing down on him like that! Never mind, their mistake may cost them the match!

You know how it is, when you defend all game and are working on those marginal lines, mistakes and poor decisions happen.

Not great but a good second half and a ground out result against one of the leagues biggest and physical sides.

Aright boys. Nice way to get 3 pts. Bigger than Spuds & City.

Conte 9: little late with sub & formation changes. But came up top. Proactively changed. More teams will do Pulis against us.
Conte needs to be ready and make us flexible & dynamic.

Costa 10: Amazing finish. I was afraid he might square for Hazard & we might lose the momentum. Incredible finish.
After the goal - that intentional offside to drain seconds and stopping Baggies from hitting long ball was sensational. Amazing brain Costa has on his head.

Hazard 6: Teams are man marking & stopping Eden. Having Willian may liberate Hazard little bit more.

Pedro 3: Didn't do much other than getting fouled by Nyom 3 or 4 times. Not a fan especially against teams sitting deep. His goals against Manchester teams carrying him.

Matic 4: Had few decent tackles. But didn't control the game. Was off pace. May be due to his injury.

    Kante 8: Another solid perfection.

Moses 6: Below average thanks to Pulis' 6 at the back formation.

Alonso 6: Need to improve his crosses. Missed straight forward crosses. Another one impacted due to ultra defensive Baggies.

Cahill 7: Better than Luiz. Did nothing due to Baggies park the bus.

Luiz 5: Lethargic & Complacent. Rondon would have converted that shot easily.

Dave 8: Better against Phillips & their counter. Covered Luiz's misses.

Thibo 5: Nothing to do. Sweeper keeper not. His kicking needs to improve a lot.

    Subs:
Willian 7: Improved the game considerably. Stretched the right side to let Costa run for the goal.

Fab 6: Good through ball again to find Costa. Did precious little when Baggies upped the ante. That is Fab's achilles.

Ivan 7: Solid in D for the long balls down the stretch.

Hard work watching that one today! Thank heavens Costa earned his wages, but I still ended up with no fingernails!
We got the 3 points, though, so I can sleep easy tonight!

Great results for us again this week Liverpool dropping points today against bottom half team and Spurs losing to United, A draw or city win next week we could be six points clear going into the festive period. Happy days.

I was thinking that way, until I started reading a couple of articles today on the possible sanctions we are about to face over the fracas at the end of the game last week against Man City. There is speculation that as this is our 5th time in the dock in less than 2years there is almost certainly going to be a points deduction rather than a fine.
