Whilst we are all hoping that this summer will bring significant development to the team, we appear to be getting little or no information on either the re-development of Anfield or the building of the new stadium. Do any of you know what the current plans are?

Well 40 views and no replies appears to indicate that, on this topic at least, everything is being kept in-house.

I believe that the current plans are to refurbish Anfield, rather than move to a new stadium.

I can't be sure on that though.

FSG are looking at the feasibility of a new stadium because time is of the essence but they haven't ruled out redevelopment.

I don't think there is any news to tell.

Thanks. It has gone so quiet on the subject that I was begining to think that I had missed some important announcement. Have to admit that I'm totally torn on the 2 possibilities. However, it would be good to get things going soon.

If FSG are taking their time, it shows that they are taking both options seriously and are looking at the economic benefits of both options. I'm sure that whatever decision they make, it will be in the best interests of Liverpool Football Club in the long-term.

It may be that they are just waiting to see what happens with the world economy before they make any huge decisions.

Remember although H+G were a pair of numbnuts they were massively hampered by the credit crunch.
