    17/12/2015 : Two matches in February moved for TV, these are all of Aston Villa's games on TV.

    EPL Saturday 19/12/2015 : Newcastle United v Aston Villa,
    KO 17:30 hours, Sky Sports 1 HD.
    FA Cup 3rd Round, Saturday 09/01/2016 : Wycombe Wanderers v Aston Villa,
    KO 12.45 hours, BT Sport 2.
    EPL Saturday 16/01/2016 : Aston Villa v Leicester City,
    KO 17:30 hours, Sky Sports 1 HD
    EPL Tuesday 02/02/2016 : West Ham United v Aston Villa,
    KO 19:45 hours, BT Sport.

    EPL Saturday 19/12/2015 : Newcastle United 1-1 Aston Villa

    For AVFC to draw this match after the way our lads played today felt like another defeat.
    Although the gap to 17th has extended to 10 points, I am not despondent.
    Keep playing in this vein and AVFC will be okay.

    Thanks for that, FF ... Leicester City's continuation of their end of Season 2014-2015 form into this Season has injected a breath of fresh air into the EPL. It is made even better by showing that a normal EPL Club can out-compete the financial dopers. May the force be with you !

    As for Aston Villa, we have two mountains to climb ...

    1} In the EPL by winning games.
    2} Reversing the financial neglect the Club has undergone since MON left in 2010.

    To borrow a phrase, I cannot fault the effort, our attacking play deserved more than just a point.
    This result combined with the other results means the gap to 17th has narrowed to nine points.

    After the result today AVFC's total Form Points has risen to 17 ... that is, points after 38 games.

    EPL Monday, 28/12/2015 : Norwich City 2-0 Aston Villa

    I saw the post-match highlights and was not impressed by how the first goal was conceded; the second was a typical counter-attacking goal. AVFC had chances too, we just need to put them away; currently the gap to 17th is 11 points.

    The situation is dire, FF, but unlike most of the folks on AVillaFan (where I mainly post), I am not going to just throw in the towel.
    I will only accept relegation if it becomes a mathematical certainty.
    Not when, if.
    I do of course know that things have to improve rapidly and consistently.

    God lord you guys are tragic.

    Someone take Villa out back and shoot it already.

    Seriously though, you lot squirm out of the drop every season, so it will do you good to get relegated, really purge the club and come back stronger.

    These are trying times for AVFC and especially for the Fans. Despite this latest reverse AVFC must keep trying.
    The gap to 17th is now 11 points.
