That was a disappointing result to a game in which AVFC played some decent football, at last !
It is now 11 consecutive defeats since AVFC's 2-0 win over Norwich City; Newcastle United next.

My AVillaFan prediction, made on 19/04/2016 : Aston Villa 2-1 Newcastle United

... I set all my predictions made to 19/04/2016 to 2-1 to AVFC ... on the basis that even a clock that has stopped is right twice a day (12 hour), or once a day (24 hour).

Overall a much better performance from AVFC than most of which we have had to endure. Maybe if our players had played with this sort of application throughout this Season, AVFC would not be heading out of the EPL.

Got to say, this a great little thread, genuinely macabre humor of seeing you go through the gauntlet of hope, despair, and ultimately acceptance of your fate. Sad that this is the first time our paths meet larry, hope you guys get back soon. I could have been a villa fan, (really, I chose the winner of chelsea v villa in a cup final years ago)-so it kind of resonates with me the pain your lot must be going through.
