Bonjour, bon appetite and bon-jovi. Welcome to the Europa League 2nd Leg match day thread. Kick off on Wednesday at 5pm - BT Sport.

Having scoured the interweb for an interesting fact, I found none, other than the fact that according to official records St Etienne is a 'large place' -

Can Manchester compete with that - of course it can. Can we beat them with a 3 goal advantage from the 1st leg? Tune in to find out.

Anything to do with the fact that Lyon are playing nearby and the authorities are desperate to prevent a re-run of the awful violence that followed our game there in '77 ?

It is indeed because Lyon have a game same time and date, yes.

Or at least was as now they don't of course.

Nothing to do with it being United specifically though, there are three games that have been moved as double headers in the same town aren't allowed.

I assumed it was because we had a Cup final on Sunday. There you go.

Yeah, that would be logical, but do you think UEFA or the TV companies give a **** about that?

Just googled it. It's spelt differently. They are kaizer chiefs.

    Still winning.

**** off, they just use the American spelling. z instead of s because the Yanks can't get their heads round an S sounding like a Z.

It is a FACT that Leeds ****s Kaiser Chiefs are named after the very same South African football team that our majestically haired ex goalkeeper Gary Bailey used to play for.

Half Man, Half Biscuit included the name of a football team in the title of their seminal single All I Want For Christmas Is A Dukla Prague Away Kit.

Interesting fact; I have seen Dukla Prague play. Bet not many on here can say that.

Cup winners cup , '83-84 season.

It was a one one draw.
