ThaiCanary... You guys could just do with a win couldn't you? Am I right in thinking you are yet to pick up all three points in 2013?
A win is needed although it is not considered essential yet, but yes, without a win this year and it is frustrating a lot of the City faithful, myself included. We should have beaten Spurs but instead started to defend deep in the 2nd half and allowed Bale & co to start running at our defence, which of course resulted in Bale doing what he does best (not diving ). As well as Everton have done this season, some will be thinking 3 points should be available and they might be right but I can't see beyond a draw due to the current negative way we are playing (avoid defeat is the thinking I believe).
We are creeping towards the finishing line.Still a very decent way off the relegation fight though but it's been a poor season compared to last in terms of entertainment.I can see this being either 0-0 or 1-1.
A tight game in prospect here, we need 3 points to have any last hope of keeping pace with Spurs, but we're not playing well at the minute, & are looking a bit toothless in front of goal.
Luckily Norwich have been pretty shocking in 2013, I still can't see us winning though. I'd like our chances more though if Coleman is fit as he's meant to be due back then. --------------------Howard---------------- --Coleman---Jagielka--Distin---Baines-- --------------Gibson---Osman------------ ------Mirallas------Fellaini-----Pienaar--- --------------------Anichebe--------------- Bassong has been great at the back for them though and has steadied the ship since their thrashing at Anfield. Not sure who they'll play up front with Holt injured, Beechio maybe?
I'd take a repeat of this
Hopefully Holt will be back as it was only a little back problem he had on the day of the fulham game last time. But if he isn't i'd guess becchio up front on his own again. Hughton also stated he was going to play with 2 up front last time but couldn't because of Holt's last minute injury so we could see a more attacking outlook from us. Hoping for a better performance than the one we gave at goodison which I left the stadium thinking how the hell did we manage that. A draw would be good for us I think!
I left the stadium wondering how you got something too! How's Holt's performances been of late considering you're on a bit of a goal drought?

Evening, always enjoy Everton coming to town. Worked in the hospital in Clatterbridge years ago and had good banter with Evertonians who had never met a Norwich fan! Be a hard game for us no doubt but actually fancy us to win this as we surely cannot keep drawing/losing!! 3 points will settle the nerves!!
Lets's hope the referee doesn't get injured, I think just about all City fans DO NOT WANT Clattenberg on the pitch.
Just read the thread as I was wondering how It got to 2 pages on our busy board there was a LFC v Swansea fight In the middle I thought we gained more supporters on not606 for a minute If we keep playing ****e for the run In Liverpool will overtake us nevermind us catch Spurs so we need to win here..
I think they've been ok, our real threat is snodgrass and pilkington on the wings and Holt's role has been to bring them and Hoolahan into play so in that sense he has been effective. I think if we play like we do we need regular goals from midfield to aid him but they're not coming as of recently so something needs to change. Overall I think he's playing the role that the manager wants fine a few extra goals would be nice though.
If you check my poll history I have always voted for Everton in games that I think they should be able to win
If you look at the activity percentages you will see I am far more efficient at whoring than those above me
Fortunately for you you're playing at the Carrot Patch, which means that Norwich will set up ultra defensive with one up front and hope to hit you on the break (mind you, they would play the same if this was at Goodison), Hughton sets up as if he would be happy with a 0-0 draw! With the class of Fellaini and Baines you should really be looking at 3 easy points tomorrow... Good Luck!
