According to Arseblog, Ramsey and Wilshere are being assessed tomorrow, they've both apparently picked up knocks.
Looked like it was nothing major. The one massive worry ahead of this game is the fact that we now have ZERO game changers on the bench after Podolski's injury. Heading into a game like this, that is so ****ed up, it's untrue. What a shambles.
So, we just have to hope that our starting 11 does the business and I do have some hope on that front after our last two games. Cazorla and Ramsey have looked brilliant, and I can see Walcott giving Rose plenty of problems.
I reckon we'll do well. The team and the crowd will be well up for this one and I'd expect us to come flying out of the blocks. MF battle is going to be a really interesting one as both sides have got quality in the middle. I'm hoping we've unveiled at least one signing before the weekend going into this game, as has been mentioned we are really thin on the bench.
The midfields is what interests me the most. Both have contrast differences, we are creative and skillfull, and they are strong and powerful.
Hopefully we can have Flamini and one other signing wrapped up prior to this to give our bench some strength. All tottenham have to do is play really physical and injure a player or two and they will be able to pick us apart with our back-ups comming on. I'm confident our first team is good enough to get a win from this, i just hope we don't have to rely on bringing a player on to change the game as at the moment no-one is available!!!
Spuds are making their excuses early: Pressure not on Spurs ??? They've just spent over 6Om on their squad, we have nearly half of our first team out through injury and a thread bare squad and they reckon the pressure is off ? And a win for us would do less for us than a win for them would ?? What planet are these spuds on ?
If anything the pressure is on them. They've spent a lot and we have not only not strengthened, we have shipped out loads of players and have half our remaining players injured. That said our first team still ****s on theres
Not sure he's wrong seeing as we're the home team and already 3 points behind them with no sign of any players coming in. It would be a disaster if we lose, not sure that's true for them..
If the spuds can't beat us, even having spent crazy amounts of money and against a weakened Arsenal side, then they truly are the dregs of North London. They'll probably not get another chance as good as this. But I suppose history does tell us, that even when they look odds on to win, even being two goals to the good - they always find a way to **** it up
Some clown was claiming on the spurs board last week that they have at least one player better than us in every position, and in some positions 2 players better that us, by that logic surly this is a foregone conclusion.
Our team finished higher than theres last season, so the squads prior to changes had us better than them. They have added a few players but not all of them would make it into our team. No idea how any spurs fan no matter how deluded could think they where that much better than us...
They probably have a stronger squad than us at the moment, but who has the better first 11 is debatable. Bear in mind they're still likely to sign Lamela
To be honest after last night I have a real fear that we are going to get pumped. If we do not have Rambo and Pod I can see us struggling. I just hope that previous games against inferior opposition has not tainted our view on a seriously thin squad. Despite those ramblings COME ON YOU GOONERS!!
