Er..yeah. As explained, we got our tactics right, we just didn't execute them properly because we were well below par on the day.
We did execute them for a half though then dropped off and again came back into it in the last 20min but missed our chances. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
No you said you didn't have the energy for the full 90 minutes. That's a flaw in the tactics, Arsenal players are fit enough to play for 90 minutes without going to pieces yet they clearly blew their load in the first 45. If the players were tired you either don't start them or set them up to play in a way that doesn't exhaust them. Also, why do you think you were well below par? According to other Arsenal fans you've only played well in 1 home game out of 6 so apparently that type of performance isn't below par at all. Pochettino thoroughly out-tacticked Wenger on the day.
Spurs got their tactics right to nullify Arsenal's attack. I think we set up okay, but maybe an away trip and tough game in Bulgaria played a part.
They've done well to remain unbeaten, but they are still 5th. So that tells you they are drawing too many games.
Its one thing drawing the games you were to lose like the invincibles and ita another drawing the games you are supposed to win. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
Eh, away at Arsenal, Everton and West Brom are usually tough games. Home against Liverpool isn't easy either, as you guys found out. Bournemouth away and Leicester at home are the real disappointments, although Bournemouth did play well on the day. Those extra 4 points are the difference in being fifth and where we want to be. Hopefully Kane can make the difference for us upfront because we need goals and the Dutch Kevin Davies isn't doing it for us.
Er...okay,i was just saying why no omes making a big deal out od spurs not losing,it hasnt been impressive unbeaten at all. If younare knocked out completely out of europe, well ponchettino disrespects europa anyways so if you dnt qualify for the knockouts,it will be an interesting battle for top four with is,city, chelsea and liverpool with youguys for four spots,if you do qualify..i am 100percent sure you wont make top 4. It just shows how biased the media are. Everyones talking like Spurs dominated us. Shots: Arsenal 15 Spurs 10. Possession Arsenal 46% Spurs 54% This was a very even match and to be fair for the last 20-25 mins or so Arsenal looked like the side that were more likely to go on and win it.
Shots on target and chances on goal are the same?We created more and missed some pathetically...reason why we have nore shots in total. Its a draw that feels like a loss to us,tottenham were fine with the point. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
You created 50% more, yet missed twice as pathetically as Spurs. That is the "actionable data" we take from those stats. "Its a draw that feels like a loss to us,tottenham were fine with the point." Drawing at home always feels like that. Away teams are always looking for a draw at the minimum.
No,if we were on run of losses, the draw would feel better,if we were in a winless run and a took a point in our fiercest derby we would feel better....if it was a game where the opposition played better and we took a draw..it would be better too So where i am going with this is,we were in better form coming to the game and we dealt with their tactics and took a lead(It was not usual arsenal going all attack at home and being countered or forced to have sterile possession rather we waited and tried to suck them in if that didnt work we waited for lapses of concentration or chunks in their shape and gradually went on top of them and scored)...thats why we feel bad about drawing and yes we are home too They are fine with it,they looked like losing, had woeful form came back into it so are satified with a point...if they were winning 3 1 and the match ended in draw regardless of being home or away they would have felt disappointed.
