Martinez is cut from the same cloth as Wenger, a man who only focuses on attacking football, and does not focus on defending or how to stop the opposition, thing with Martinez is he is still a young manager, what the hell is Wenger's excuse?

Wenger doesn't have any more excuses. I don't want Martinez, he oversaw Wigan's relegation and then when he made the step up at Everton, he nearly dragged them into a relegation battle too.

If Wenger no longer has any excuses, why the **** is he then allowed to do the same **** every season and not be thrown out on his arse? What he has done this summer in particular has been utterly staggering.

The big question is will he be given a contract extension. The management will offer him one that is certain, will Wenger accept? The majority of fans don't want him anymore. He won't win the league or CL that is obvious, we are missing quality in areas that haven't been addressed AGAIN. His best bet is a domestic cup, with all the top teams focusing on league and CL qualification/participation, it makes it a real possibility. But does that save him? Maybe from a management and spin perspective.

My fear is that Arsenal are becoming stagnant by putting their support in a manager that has gone past his best, he's done his job should have been replaced a few years ago. It was utterly short sighted and things will only continue to go downhill with him in charge. But we're not looking for anyone and this will make getting an inevitable replacement more difficult. But this is what you get from a business first football club, that is more interested in making a tidy profit than actually posing a challenge and take a risk. Supporting Arsenal has become increasingly boring as you know how things will turn out. There is no mystery with the excitement being sucked out by the current regime. Wenger's early tenure is the complete opposite from his current one, how i miss it.
