Not Walcott, but these three should be available for selection for Sunday. We have no injuries from last week. on Giroud… He is back in training since yesterday. on Mertesacker… He is back in training, not with the squad but I think he is a few weeks away.
Apparently we haven't lost a game against Burnley in the league for 42 years . Let's hope that run continues .
Giroud hasn't held the ball up well at all so far. The ball keeps bouncing off him and his first touch has been poor.
Giroud is poor apart from his goals. SO far he has played pass to a Burnley pleayer, a clearance to a Burnley player and taken the ball away from Ramsey fro a header on goal.
Normally does when I have a go about him. I do think he makes it harder for the players around him and the team in general even with his goals atm.
We're actually playing some decent stuff, just need to get the final ball right. Burnley look threatening on the counter, though.
It's not just me that thinks Burnley's forwards are falling to the ground very easily whenever one of our centre halves competes for the ball, is it?
We've still got another few gears to go through. No need to rush things at the moment, patience will pay off.
We may as well just skip the first 45 minutes of a game because we only seem to perform properly in the second half.
Thing is, we've not even played badly, but our final ball and some of our shots have been well under par.
With Giroud up front we just dont looks as dangerous. (except for in the air) Build up play has been decent. The danger is we keep pushing higher and higher up and get caught on the break
