Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger, speaking to Sky Sports: On finally beating Jose Mourinho in a Premier League game: "We have had many draws as well and there were some fantastic teams that we played against. It is not manager against manager." Yeah right i bet he's relieved he finally beat him!
Maybe. There's a part of me that thinks surely footballers want to go where the best football is played, not where the biggest wages are paid. But I realise that's a bit of an unrealistic and romantic view of the game. Cash is King.
Well the apex is playing for the big three and they all pay well as well. But Man U is a huge club and Maureen is still an elite manager, so going there isn't so bad. But players like Costa etc all going to China is poor and only about money.
Dammit.. finally dont watch a game and we actually get a good win in. Still good result - hopefully we can still sneak in on the 4th place trophy.
4th is still possible. We have 12 points available to get so we could end the season on 75pts. Out of our remaining games I can see the following happening Southampton away 1pt Stoke away 1pt Sunderland home 3pts Everton home 3pts Which would give us 8 points and 71pts total It all depends on what City and Liverpool do though ...
West Ham to do the double, **** spurs title dream and Liverpool's CL dream you can loan us a RB and a striker that doesn't fall apart in return.
It would actually be a good idea. Gabriel gets a proper run and Walcott get to run in all that Wembley space.
I'd take both, Walcott would score quite a few as first choice striker, though he probably end up at RB and we'd not bother with Gabriel.
