Luckily... I had £20 at 8/1 on Thursday so that might get me one.... Like Castro backed them for next week at 17/1 and nearly 7/1 for the draw next week...
The stupid ****s at city have clearly taken the smallest allocation again and sold our fans short, they did the same against Chelsea and we sold out with 10 days to go.
they are passed to touts such as TicketBis - theres over 30 on there already - someone at the club is passing them on - maybe its tickets given to the players who sell them via the touts - the same happened against Chelsea which is why there were so many tourists watching - it needs investigating because it is wrong that season ticket holders cant get tickets yet someone at the club is passing them on for sale via touts and making a quick turn
Middlesbrough only charging Oxford supporters between £10 and £15 for tickets for their 5th round cup tie.... Cheapest I can find Saturday tickets is £80 plus booking fee..
Last time we played there , my mate forgot his ticket and ended up paying a tout £200.00 to sit in the home end I'm gutted they have sold out this time, should have got one right away but just never thought it was any danger of selling out so early , for an early sky kick off
I checked on Tuesday and they'd gone. Never been to the Emirates before so was hoping to do the trip this time. They went on general sale on Monday morning so they must have gone pretty quickly. Pinning my hopes on a maiden trip to Goodison Park instead so hopefully those don't sell out quickly as well!
You just hope the useless idiots who pluck a figure out of the air and say we'll take 850 tickets, will now recognise that will (if all goes well) be an increasing demand and whilst not over committing say we'll take as an example 2000, with an option on another 1000.
That was a beaut. I was in the Queens on Prinny. Loads of screens of Setanta feed. What a night! Walking back with mates and there were horns a-honking, folks in the colours, lots of warmth and happiness. London 0 - Hull 4
Our away followings been dropping and dropping. I imagine the ticket office have a good idea how many go dont you? Adn will base it on that We took about 800 to W Brom. Proper ground etc etc. Real fans dontlike going to Arsenal, Liverpool etc
It may be because of our finances. Don't we have to pay for any allocation we take even if we don't sell all the tickets? If we sell 1,000 tickets from an allocation of 1,500 we have to find the cash for the extra 500, or in today's climate £15,000. I may be wrong but I recall seeing someone mentioning it on another thread.
Couldn't agree more, i'd much rather go to Stoke, Leicester, Everton et al... what I was getting at was, if the mood is right options on an increased number of tickets in the event of sell out rather than an arbitrary figure would be in the best interests of overall attendance and team support.
