    I was having this discussion only today with my eldest (also a Yid).

    We both agreed that the last thing Poch would want is some Billy-Big-Bollocks star signing, coming in on a VDV deal that guarantees him a start in every game, and upsetting the balance of goodwill and spirit in the squad.

    Who are we going to get that is better than our current first XI, at a price that we can afford, and on the kind of wages that we are prepared to pay?

    Poch is much better off going left-field and sticking with talented youth, to turn into the next Kane or Alli, and who will be happy to fight for his place in the squad, and not think he's owed a spot (as Walker clearly did).
