Four so far, offside handball goal v Burnley and professional foul v Swansea denying the equaliser. Lets hope there won't be any more but here is the place to record them if there are. No wumming please. Please keep on topic and post only examples of Arsenal cheating.
obsessed, im all seriousness do you guys think that was a sending off? by that i mean if one of your players had done the same would you have said it was a sending off?
It think that it's one that you'd want a red for if it was against you, but you'd protest if it's your player getting sent off. Xhaka jumped into the foul, which is what pushed it over the edge, in my opinion. About four separate aspects of the foul were yellow cards, too. Catches him with both feet, no chance of getting the ball, stopping a break and it's a strong foul.
Can the FA extend the game ban retrospectively for professional fouls, like they can for acts of violence ?? The player is obviously going to be out for the basic red, but adding more due to any cynicism in the foul will obviously be more of a deterrent.
I'm assuming Xhaka thought there was a high chance of Swansea scoring on the break or I can see no sense in him committing that foul. But perhaps he is just a thug and I'm being harsh.
Arsenal should scrape another 3 points against poor opposition this weekend. The fixture arranger must be an Arsenal fan....
They got the most dubious penalty of the season so far, with the possible exception of De Bruyne v Swansea, against Saints. They sure have benefited from some slanted officiating so far. The way it's going you may well need to sticky this thread
Since they cheated to get into the top tier in the first place wouldn't that apply to every point they've ever gained therein?
Well obviously, but its apparently controversial to say so: Piskie will be on here asking for 'proof'
I thought that might be the case but a repeat of the recent spat on the PL board would be too boring.
He probably cheated too in order to get on here in the first place. Claimed to take an interest infootball
"Shkodran Mustafi's pass goes to Boro's Gaston Ramirez who runs towards goal on the left but is then pretty much rugby tackled by the German." Will this blatant cheating earn one point or two?
Wasn't it quite surprising that there was literally zero talk on MOTD about how Cech could easily have been sent off yesterday when he gave away the pen? I struggled to see how a goal-scoring opportunity was not denied.
Under the new law it's only a red card if the foul is deliberate. So if you make a genuine attempt to tackle and mistime it you get a yellow. Quite sensible really but leaves more discretion to the ref so will end up being a lottery. I though Cech could have been sent off.
