That's the problem for these guys now, as AFTV becomes increasingly popular due to the OTT rants, they're now becoming targets for rival fans, especially if they choose to sling insults at any of the London rivals, that just asks for trouble.
I think it depends on what you say, to be honest. Most of them seem to be able to get away with doing interviews outside other club's grounds. One can't even go to the game. It's clear that there's some things that you're not going to get away with. I think that most people will happily accept a bit of piss-taking and banter. That's par for the course and we'd probably be disappointed if it didn't happen, to be honest. Must be a bit odd being a City fan and having very few people having a dig, no matter what happens.
Does anybody even care about City ? The big rivalries are always going to be between the London clubs, Utd and Liverpool, Newcastle and Sunderland and a bit of south coast rivalry with Southampton, Portsmouth and Bournemouth.
I don't think that anyone really has anything against them, barring Utd. Their derby game got overtaken by the Liverpool match and most Man Utd fans don't even know where Manchester is, so even that's diluted. It's hard to build up any animosity when you never meet any of their fans, really.
My brother is a City fan. He's piped up again after he decided football is a science for him and the project is mesmerising(this revelation came once they started messing up on the pitch). He was fine giving it some when Pep was being worshipped early doors. Then he closed up and started giving one word answers to my rip roaring text messages and having a pop at me for not enjoying football the way he does. Pussy, he's another one who should stick to Chess. They all camp out on Bluemoon
I'd like to see what Neville actually said. Was he saying fans shouldn't have an opinion or was he saying that those who want Wenger out are chatting ****? If he was simply saying the latter then that's his right to say so too..
6 mins 40 seconds and within that, a 10 second comment by Neville saying he saw fans on Arsenal TV slating Wenger unfairly, and he doesn't deserve that. If that's what this is all about then storm in a tea cup and faux outrage by the masses
Depends what was said I suppose, I can't agree with outright abuse of the man, that's disrespectful. However, Arsenal fans are within their right to criticise their club, maybe the way they go about it is a bit aggressive at times but they have more right than a pundit, so what if he is an ex player? He makes a living out of being critical. Plus Arsenal Fan TV were bound to bite back, it makes for good exposure for them I suppose. My outrage is far from faux!
But he's not said they don't have the right to critiise. Where have people got that from? All he's said is that those who want Wenger out are wrong. What's wrong with saying that? Are we now saying that it's not ok for pundits to disagree with the view of fans.
Yes that's what I'm saying. Remember, he has no credibility after talking a good one then failing miserably! Lol winding you up, I haven't even seen the clip.
Tonight's episodes are going to be truly epic. Predicting a few good rants and about 150 "bluds" in the space of two minutes from that soppy twat who thinks he's gangster.
