Some parts of North London Crouch end Barnet Islington are very very nice others are worse than even Ipswich.
Toby lives 5 minutes drive (bus) from Camden which is super trendy where as Archie is Wid Green area which is an open sewer at best by all accounts

 

Interesting fact:

In Scottishland someone called "Archie" is called "Erchie" which is also parochial slang for buttocks; as in "Scratchin yer erchie".

I live in leafy Muswell Hill. Used to live in Wood Green years ago but escaped.

Camden has some decent venues like Dingwalls and the Jazz Cafe but is overrun with Scandinavian and German punk tourists and is basically a ****hole. Used to go raving at the Electric Ballroom back in the day, & once had a stall at Camden Market but avoid the area like the plague now especially the market.

Ipswich is full of junkies.

Kate Moss lives in Muswell Hill I would be very surprised if you can afford an Olympic breakfast there let alone a "bachelor pad" Ipswich contrary to your beliefs doesn't have a significant drug problem.
I have never been offered any drugs or seen any junkies begging they do have a massive influx of fake cripple Romanian and terrible street musicians with acordians since letting the gypos join the EU though.

Ipswich doesn't have a class a drug problem? It must have been a smackhead convention the day I went then. And the dress sense of much of the local population suggested the presence of many Mike Ashley owned retail outlets.

The pub isn't there anymore. Since I stopped drinking in Muswell Hill, quite a few pubs have gone out of business.

If I hadn't a) pissed bundles up the wall, and b) got divorced once and separated once I'd be proper ****ing loaded now instead of just sitting pretty (in Muswell Hill). But I have no regrets.
