    ‘... even if Mickey Mac pulls off a surprise win over Man U, though a goal bonanza by both the Toon and Man City ..... ‘

    That’s what I jokingly suggested may happen - perhaps I should follow my instincts in future?

    Anyway, despite a healthy 60 participants, it was disappointing weekend for most of us, though ‘BOB T’ and ‘Dorset Mackem’ may not agree after taking the honours with a modest 5/2. Well done to both of you.

    A week on the naughty step beckons for ‘Blahq_Kats’ and ‘jerseymackem’ who each managed to scrape a single correct result, to avoid what would have been our first ever blank!!
